This study aims to analyze KI-KD at the madrasah tsanawiyah level. In this study, the KI-KD will be analyzed in KMA Number 165 of 2014 on the subject of moral aqidah. which is and has not been HOT. The hope is that it will be able to become a reference between the Basic Competencies that are already HOTS and are still LOTS. This research is library research. The data is descriptive qualitative, obtained from primary sources KMA No. 165 of 2014. The data collection technique is through documentation techniques and analyzed by descriptive methods and content analysis methods. The results of the analysis show that the Basic Competence (KD) in KMA Number 165 of 2014 in the subjects of aqidah and morality is still dominated at the cognitive level of C2 (understanding). Then followed by C3 (apply). Meanwhile, cognitive C4 (analyzing) as the initial level of HOTS is still relatively small compared to C2 and C3. While C5 (evaluate) and C6 (create) have not been found at all. With the number of KD LOTS as much as C1; 4, C2; 38, C3; 13, and the number of KD HOTS is C4; 6, C5;0, C6; 0.
